Training Program for Couch to Running

Let us help you train for a 4 mile or 5K (3.1 mile) running event.

Want to find a way to be more active and check off one of those bucket list items? How about doing it with people like yourself that have no idea where to start or what to do? This is a series of programs to get you to the finishline of a shorter endurance running event. You will be guided by a professional coach on what to do from day one through your race. You will receive guidance on general nutrition, what to eat during your workouts, and how to prepare for event day. Each program will train you for up to a 4 mile run in the DFW Area. Group workouts will take place in the Plano, Denton, and North Dallas areas.

Training program includes:

  • 8-week training schedule

  • Group workouts, including strength and stablity workouts

Training Program for DRC Half Marathon

Let us help you train for the DRC Half Marathon. Race day is November 1, 2015.

Coach Kevin Anderle has prepared a 12-week training program that will help you meet your goals for the half. By signing up you will also get 2 group workouts with Coach Kevin to go over the program at the program start and a quick running assessment. Then again the group will meet about halfway thru the program for another running assessment. The program will include groups runs with Triple Threat Tough athletes and coaches. Schedule will focus on building an aerobic base with lots of over distance runs while also building mental toughness with some interval and Fartlek work (don't know what a Fartlek is? don't worry you will soon enough!). Although there is one workout schedule for this program, athletes from beginner to intermediate experience will benefit. Look forward to seeing you on the road!

Training Program for Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon

Let us help you train for the Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon. Race day is November 15, 2015.

This program is designed for the first time or seasoned runner. Don't miss this opportunity to learn everything you need to know. The program will make your run experience run smoothly and be unforgettable.

Training program includes:

  • 12-week training program
  • Email contact with coach
  • One group workout a week that focuses on run preparation, speed workouts and zone training runs. The speed workouts are on a quarter mile cinder track. The zone training workouts will be on a nature trail. This group workout is led by a coach and will be no longer that one and half hours.
